SIFA Fireside is a leading charity in Birmingham that works with people who are homeless and vulnerably housed. We are seeking a Homeless Transition Worker to join our expanding team. This role is part of a new service, which works closely with Birmingham City Council Housing Options team and other advice hubs in the city. The service aims to ensure that clients have a smooth transition into their accommodation and receive the right support to sustain their tenancy. You will have experience of working with vulnerable adults and be willing to travel across the city to see clients in their accommodation. This is a rapid response service that requires energy and commitment to achieving the best for some of Birmingham’s most vulnerable people. SIFA Fireside is a values-driven organisation and it is essential that you can demonstrate your alignment to our values of courageous, inclusive, dynamic and supportive.
SIFA Fireside is committed to ensuring its staff team is reflective of the community we represent and we welcome applications from individuals who have lived experience of the issues our clients face.
