We’re more than just a soup kitchen. We help clients resettle and move on, walking with them on their path to a brighter future - a future they’ve been aiming for.

We believe that, with a little help, our clients will be part of their own solutions. We give them expert advice and tailored support packages, help them to see their strengths and fight for their rights.

Clients face homelessness for many reasons at once and there isn’t one single solution. By working with other services, we address their multiple, interlinked support needs. We show them that they are able to change their lives.

This project is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.

We offer our clients personalised and innovative support packages...

Mental health

Addressing the psychological needs of our clients. Developing self-esteem.
Employment

Finding and keeping work. Addressing obstacles to doing this, like opening a bank account. Support provided as part of our Work It Out programme.
Life skills

Workshops in budgeting, IT skills and healthy eating. Social and creative activities like drama and arts.
Tenancies

Finding and keeping accommodation. Help moving from temporary to sustained housing. Funded by Lloyds Bank Foundation.
Legal advice

Making sure clients know and get what they’re entitled to. Advice about tenancy, benefits and UK residency.
Specialist services

Meeting the needs of specific client groups: vulnerable women, people from Central and Eastern Europe; and from Ireland (funded by the Irish Government).

We dream of the day when a client we’re supporting doesn’t need us anymore. Whatever happens, we’ll always be around to problem-solve and to celebrate their successes their success one step at a time.

What our clients say

Chris needed photo ID so he could get onto a training scheme. We were able to find funding for him to be able to apply for it.

“That’s going from being in the dust and the dirt to a head in the clouds sort of thing. This is a big thing for me…”
