Volunteer thank you event hosted by 1847
The vegetarian restaurant, 1847, hosted a wonderful event in Birmingham Great Western Arcade. This evening celebration was to thank our volunteers for all their dedication and hard work over the year and to celebrate The Birmingham Teapot Fund winning BVSC’s ‘Volunteer Team of the Year 2016’ Award. We also celebrated Sister Rose who received the ‘Runner Up in the 50+ Volunteer of the Year 2016’ in the same awards. Find out more…
SIFA Fireside at Birmingham Pride
SIFA Fireside were lucky enough to be one of the chosen charities for Birmingham Pride this year. During the parade weekend we were blessed with great weather and a fantastic atmosphere. We were able to spread the word about the work we do and were honoured to be part of the event. Find out more…
Annual Garden Party
We would like to thank John, Jim and Barbara for organising a lovely garden party in aid of SIFA Fireside. Admission was at the cost of can of food and fresh fruit which we were very grateful for. The day was packed with live music and games and any monies raised will be donated to our charity. Thanks again for taking the time to support us and we are so glad the weather stayed nice for you.
The Beyond Borders music event and tribute to local singer songwriter Rich McMahon at Fletcher’s Bar was an exciting and memorable afternoon. As well as classic songs from various eras it was great to see The Dissenters play an amazing show. The night went extremely well and raised £369 for SIFA Fireside Thanks to Kings Heath Walk of Fame, Maggie Matthews and Alex Vann for organising this event.
