VSG security staff at the Bullring are planning a series of fundraising events and activities to encourage donations and support for SIFA Fireside. They will also be volunteering to prepare and serve food to our clients during our busy breakfast and lunch sessions, here at our Drop-in centre in Digbeth and are exploring other ways in which they can support the centre and our clients.
“We chose to work with SIFA Fireside as part of our community initiative as in our roles we come face to face with homelessness. We will be working closely with SIFA Fireside to understand more about homelessness, some of the issues and challenges people face and the services that SIFA Fireside and other partners deliver to help these vulnerable adults.
We have noticed an increase in people who are homeless in Birmingham’s City Centre and this will help in our day to day operations. We are excited to be able to offer support to SIFA Fireside, as we believe it is a fantastic charity that provides an amazing service. It’s a win-win!” Russell Wyatt, VSG
Support from business helps us to continue to fund and deliver our much needed drop-in centre and services based at Allcock Street, Digbeth, where we work with some of Birmingham’s most vulnerable adults: people who are homeless or vulnerably housed.
We would like to say a big thank you to all the team at Bullring Security and their parent company Vision Security Group (VSG) for encouraging and supporting staff involvement in their local community.
