A Homeless Carol

by admin on 3 December 2014

Singing Christmas Carols this winter? Why not add a charity twist with our version of Let It Snow… The homeless version written by Lucy Hill.

Please Don’t Snow

Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful.
And since we’ve no place to go.
Please don’t snow! Please don’t snow! Please don’t snow!

It doesn’t show signs of stopping,
And I’ve got no corn for popping.
The lights are turned way down low.
Please don’t snow! Please don’t snow! Please don’t snow!

And so I will say goodnight,
How I’ll hate staying out in the storm!
But through it all I will fight
Hoping I’ll be nice and warm.

Hypothermia aint much fun
But please don’t cry for me hun.
Cause long as you love me so.
It won’t snow. It won’t snow. Please don’t snow

Perhaps you could do a little collection whilst this is sung? It will all help our winter appeal – Keep Us Cooking this Winter. Attempting to reach our target of over £6,000 to pay for the heating and hot water bill for the Drop In so we can provide a warm safe space, hot showers and hot meals for the homeless adults in Birmingham.
