New Service User Committee Elected

Every 6 months service users elect a new Service User Committee.  There are 3 Service User Committee positions available for Service Users to apply for.

Service User Committee Members are responsible for:

* Attending regular meetings with SIFA Fireside Chief Executive/ Operations Manager

* Attend SIFA Fireside Board meetings, and where necessary Staff Meetings

* Represent Service Users voices when meeting with outside agencies

* Report back to the Service User Forum on a fortnightly cycle

The date of the election was Monday April 22nd between 9am and 1pm.  All service users who attended drop in that day were given a ballot paper to vote.  There were 8 service users who stood for election.

The new committee elected was:

Rob Jones

James-Paul Orreasdon

Kathleen Mayer
